The key to deep cleaning your Kitchen is to get organised..!
To achieve a tidy and clean kitchen, is really not all that difficult to maintain when you have gotten over the hurdle of it being mammoth task. Once you have done your deep clean you will find it takes a few minutes daily to keep it to this level. Try to do a deep clean at least once a month.
Use an appliance cleaner there’s a few on the market like ‘Gilit Bang or Viakal and multipurpose cleaner like Mr Muscle to wipe the surfaces. Using natural products are also great see essential steps below:
- Clear all your clutter – starting from top to bottom, go into all your cupboards and the surfaces in your kitchen and find a place for all your scattered items.
- Start labelling biscuit, spice Jars or other containers etc.. then remove items from the cupboard. Use a decrease cleaning agent and clean the interior and doors of the cabinets, after wipe items and put back in the cupboards.
- The sink – best way to clean rubbish disposal in your sink is to put lemon and run Hot water and a bleaching agent and run the cruncher for a few minutes. A tooth brush is a good scrubbing tool to clean around the taps and plug. Use a mixture of lemon juice and white vinegar to remove stubborn lime scale build up.
- Counters & walls – using a cloth wipe with vinegar solution the entire surface also wipe the back splash. Behind the cooker use soapy water and deceasing agent and wipe down all the surfaces.
- Floors – First sweep the floor bring you pile of dust to middle of the room then throw in the bin. If you have tile or lino, take your white vinegar / lemon mixture and sprits the area on the floor that needs a deep clean add some baking soda which is a natural cleaning agent then add again more of your mixture then start scrubbing. Check with the manufacture Manual for the flooring to make sure you can use it. Use a tooth brush and soapy water to clean the skirting boards. Once done you mop the floor with vinegar solution.
